Hi GoldenPhoenix...it's me again. Hehe (YOUR ART ADMIRER) I saw your reply to my comment under the Leopard art. Thanks for giving me the "OK" to use your leopard as my desktop wallpaper. Well, I couldn't resist to collect this one too for my screen wallpaper collection. Now that I got the random "wallpaper master" I can admire your art randomly! (wink wink) Have you ever heard of that music chorus commercial song: Have a ((((KIT-KAT)))) give yourself a break, four big fingers four big fingers they tassssssste great! What I'm trying to say here is this kitty kat really is having his tasty long break! LOL Adorable! Great work.... luv luv luv meow meow +10 ♥ ♥ _♥_♥___♥_♥_ ♥___♥_♥___♥ _♥___♥___♥_ __♥ .____ ♥__
I did indeed! XD Being a bit dim, I copied the image and completely forgot how I got to it in search so I couldn't include the URL. I'm glad you like the pic, and thanks for linking - I'll pop it in the description
That is INCREDIBLE! How do you get the fur so perfect? Could you do a tutorial on fur please? When I draw, you can still see the lineart, but when i take it off it looks weird PLEASE SHOW US HOW YOU DRAW ANIMALS SO INCREDIBLY
The fur is really easy - just get colours that are slightly darker than the "base colours" and draw short lines over the sketch. I'll probably put a tutorial up sometime.
As for lineart, to make it not look weird when you remove it, a good method is to keep the lineart visible whilst you're painting over it, but make the opacity really low so you have an idea of what it will look like when it's removed ^_^
So instead of green, you feature the two colors that blended together will become green (yellow and blue). *claps* XD
But seriously, this is a wonder piece and I'm loving those eyes. That's close to the "Ha-ha" expression my cat Hobbes gives Skip when he's beaten said pup to somebody's lap.XD And honestly, I'm having trouble seeing what's anatomically wrong with it. At first I would say its the wideness of the face but there are cat breeds with heads like that.
I was so sure some crazed Warrior cats group would have come after this by now (they did to my cheetah, odd as that may sound). XD
Haha! You caught me! What can I say - I love green and suffer depression when not using it, so I have to create my links to it somehow
Thanks for the compliment It was a great piece to work on! Aww Hobbes is an awesome name for a cat - I know a Bengal called Hobbes. What kind is yours? *Currently holding a job at a cattery so is a crazy cat person* XD
Ahh the Warriors groups . . . Actually I was tempted to look up some Warrior character and just give this pic it's name because it's amazing what that can do to your view count. They even got your cheetah? Jeez . . .
Yeesss, you live the green. It feeds on your soul! XD
Yeah, too bad almost nobody here remebers there's supposed to be an "e" in his name. XD This is him: [link] He's part manx but I'm not sure what breed gave him a longer tail. His late sister June barely had a stump for one. This is what his markings look like: [link]
That group earned that image the highest comment/fave count in my gallery for a long time. I read the first series some years ago. Granted, its a cute story but the little bit of excitement I got wore off pretty quickly. Is it strange me to think that?
Funny, I've seen a lot more colors in British currency than that, and lucky you for it. The most colorful our currency gets are the copper pennies! (except for the Christmas chocolate coins but those don't count)
That sounds like them alright.^_^ Hobbes and June also have/had some of the softest fur ever. ^^ If you get one, just beware the possibility of selected parts of the house becoming scratching posts. XD
I'm trying to remember what the original concept was. I'm suddenly curious, what was it about the series that originally caught your attention? All I remember was being attracted by the Moonrise cover (I'm a sucker for snow scenes, go figure).
