Shalkats originally evolved as ambush predators, relying on their climbing abilities in dense forests and rocky mountains to jump down on prey from above. However the grassland-dwelling subspecies has no such environmental assistance, and has had to adapt to a different form of hunting. Like the African cats, grassland shalkats will pursue prey in sprinting bursts, their elongated bodies and long tails making them both agile and flexible.
I've had a few people asking for more shalkats, so here we are! I used no reference material at all for this one which is why he's crawling with anatomy errors. Do I care? Hell no!
Enjoy!
